Granola & Joe

Our Story:

We met through a social networking site and became friends because of our mutual interest and love for the the outdoors of Colorado. We quickly discovered our interest in one another and started dating. Our growing relationship quickly turned into a special love and respect for one another. Since we’ve met, we’ve enjoyed many adventures together in the US, England, and Mexico. We enjoy snowboarding, hiking, rock climbing, camping, backpacking, and being urban dwellers in our home of Denver.

The Proposal:

We went on a day trip to one of our favorite places in Colorado: Rocky Mountain National Park. We wanted to enjoy one of the last beautiful days of the fall together. We decided to park the car in an area of the park called Morraine Park and do some exploring. We crossed over a river and found ourselves in a large valley surrounded by mountains. Quite a long distance away from us was a large herd of elk! We decided to scramble up some rocks that were nearby. We shared some intimate moments together talking about our relationship and the things we appreciate about one another. A very nervous Joe then proposed to Christina and asked her to share in the adventure of a lifetime together and of course she said yes!
